M4K BOSTON Pre-Shave Checkpoint and “Info Session”!

Mustache growers, enthusiasts, etc.,

Mustache season is right around the corner, and we would love to see all your beautiful, stacheless faces NEXT WEDNESDAY December 15th at 7:30 PM at The 21st Amendment in Boston (address below) for a little meet-and-greet / info session / publicity brainstorm / recruiting event / excuse to get together at a bar.

Thanks to new friends who have embraced the spirit of M4K and just started growing anyway, M4K Boston has already raised nearly $2,000 this year! Being in the black right out of the gate is a huge boon for us, but we have a lot of work to do if we hope to match, or exceed, our awesome $14,000 freshman season. That’s where you all come in.

Growing sweet mustaches and raising lots of money is important – obviously. BUT, helping recruit other growers before the season starts through word of mouth AND publicity helps exponentially. Therefore, we’re asking you all to come meet up next Wednesday night, and to bring anyone you think you might be able to convince to grow with us this year. Our hope is that we can get prospects excited about the charity now, so they’re on board at the start of the season (Clean Shave Day is January 13th – my birthday), and they may even bring additional people into the fold.

In addition, we want to tap into our mustache network to help us with any potential leads on publicity for M4K Boston this year. If anybody has a connection at a newspaper, TV station, radio station, popular bar, widely-read blog, Twitter (whatever that is), or anything else, we want to know and want to leverage these to get the word out. We had about 10 active growers last year, and want to shoot for 25 or 30 this year. It’s going to take some work to do that, but we can definitely make it happen. I mean come on – we’re growing mustaches.
